It used to be a pretty good app to get local news. NOW YO HAVE TO WATCH A 30 SECOND COMMERCIAL BEFORE YOU CAN SEE A 15 SECOND NEWS CLIP. Ill be switching the the Sac Bee and channel 10 for my local news. Total Fail

The app is o.k. But not great. Youll tease us by starting a story and then theres nothing there. Im not totally impressed.

A 30 second KCRA commercial before every news video..Really!! Everyone else is saying the same..Hello?...is anyone there looking at these reviews?

It isnt as good as it used to be. The weather part used to be so easy, you could find your areas so easy. Now its difficult n confusing. Change it back. It keeps changing.

I rarely get a chance to sit and watch the news and having this app on my phone with the notifications turned on has kept me informed better than when I was able to watch the news on TV. Thank you channel 3! Your the best! Now if you could just program it to cook supper....

My only news app. Meets all my new, traffic and weather needs.

New app is terrible. Had it on iPhone and they are now trying to force me to update iPad. Deleted and deleted! And I refuse to watch their commercial prior to EVERY video!

Love the news but hate the continual advertising. Every time you open an article with video you have to watch the same ad.

This is a wonderful App. The ads are not my favorite but I realize nothing is absolutely free. The reporters are top notch and the news is always timely. My favorite news station to watch as well.

KCRA is great. KCRA app needs to be run by KCRA.

I feel the older version was more usable and less cluttered. Now there are a ton of ads & too many of the same commercials that you have to watch over and over when viewing video or live streaming. Sometimes you cant tell what is a link and what is not. Also, a lot of news stories seem to be incomplete with just a couple of sentences. I do really like being able to watch live news and check the dollar radar. I often use the app for these purposes. The weather info needs to be consistently updated in all areas. The video cast, 7 day map forecast and the text forecast all vary greatly on any given day. This app has some good features but could really be cleaned up. Also the app/website has way to many useless slideshows of lists (top 50..., etc). Please just give the list on a single page. Its quite annoying to have to flip through 50 slides for a single item on the list. Such a waste of time.

I listen to KCRA news every morning while getting ready for work, love the news, however the advertising can get a little annoying sometimes, other than that is the perfect news channel!

Yes, I love this new app. So I get often news alert on the go. And open app, to read news articles n live video tv on the go.

I LOVE that I can pick and choose what news I WANT to see... sometimes on TV there is just too much depressing stuff and if I need a day without it and to just see "the important stuff" then I can make that choice. Thank you for your attempt to always be accurate and on top of so much!

I use this app all the time, its a great app.

Every time I open this app, I have to watch a 15 second ad. Every time I click on a video, I have to watch a 30 second ad. There ads at the top of the page, multiple in the middle of each story, and now there are ads on the bottom of the page too. Losing my patience with it.

This is my accurate source of weather using the radar to see how close storm is. Also source for sacramento news. Thank you!

I switched to other local news apps. Every story has an 30 Second ad. I dont know who made that decision but it was a bad one. No other news app except CNN makes you watch ads. Sorry KCRA, this is going to cost you app users.
