Latest update broken

Latest update: terrible! Crashes immediately upon opening. Cmon, you guys! My iPhone 6 auto-updated yesterday, and I havent been able to use the app since.

One feature Id really like to see is a "Corrections" section. Recently, when a Search and Rescue volunteer was shot in Nevada County, you erroneously reported (for how long, I do not know) that he had been shot in the head. I wonder how many horrified people still believe that...? Chances are, few people whod read the original, error-filled story bothered to check the link again, once youd made the correction that the volunteer was, in fact, shot in the hip. Irresponsible.
It would also be helpful to have a link in the pull-down menu to Foothill/Lake Tahoe news. I see this heading while reading a story about this geographical area (where many of your readers and viewers reside), but theres no option for stories from this area, as there is for "Bay Area," "Stockton," etc., in the "News" section of the menu.
Finally, enough slide shows! You even recycle slide shows! Just stop already.
